Every limb is exercised and Zumba also exercises different muscle groups. Apparently you can build lean muscles with Zumba but it will not give you a muscular look. You can apparently build abs and strengthen your core muscles too.

Zumba can burn calories and you can workout twice or thrice a day without the fear of overtraining. Zumba, apparently can burn 500-800 calories every hour. It is also a great way to distract your mind hence it is a great way to de-stress.

Though Zumba was started by a man, it has very poor male following. Women are growing a fondness to Zumba as compared to men, but this phenomenon is seen globally.

Zumba fitness is a great alternative to gym workouts but it would be ideal to also take up strength training. Zumba fitness is a fun way to lose weight and tone the muscles.
