Philippines AirAsia CEO Captain Dexter Comendador said, “We are pleased to open Guangzhou from Manila to boost tourism and socio-economic activities through our signature low fares and only the best quality service. We would like to encourage travelers to explore new places for both business and leisure activities.”

To celebrate the launch, AirAsia is offering promo fares from as low as P1.00 base fare only now available at airasia.com for travel period starting April 27 to October 28, 2017.

Guangzhou is located in the southern part of China and the city is next to Hong Kong and Macau with attractive spots for shopping and sightseeing. The most notable ones are the South China Botanic Garden, Zhenhai Tower, Chimelong Resort, Qingping Market, Litai Waterfalls and the Pearl River Cruise.

Also known as the birthplace of “marine silk road” as well as the opening port of China to the world, Guangzhou has been known as trade center with modern commercial and international hubs for business and trade fairs. Brand-new landmark attractions include Canton Tower, the Canton Fair Complex hosting the world’s largest trade fair, the world’s first model of self-driving super sports concept car and many more. All these demonstrate that Guangzhou has grown rapidly as an international, competitive and innovative city.

Aside from Manila, the AirAsia Group also services direct flight to Guangzhou from Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu and Bangkok.

AirAsia flights between Manila and Guangzhou will commence on April 27 at four times weekly departing Manila’s NAIA Terminal 3 at 23:50 every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.
