A Total of 24 Confirmed Cases in PH: Covid-19

The Department of Health (DOH) has reported a total of 24 confirmed cases of Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19) in the Philippines as of March 10, 2020.

14 more confirmed cases were reported within 24 hours after DOH reported 10 confirmed cases yesterday, March 9, 2020.

As of March 10, 2020, 21 persons that are confirmed with Covid-19 are admitted; with 2 having already recovered while 1 confirmed case died.

657 Persons Under Investigation (PUIs) were discharged after testing negative for Covid-19.

44 PUIs are currently admitted for showing Covid-19 like symptoms.

Classes in all levels in the National Capital Region (NCR) are already suspended to prevent the spreading of the virus in the region.

DOH urges people to observe proper hygiene and avoid crowded places. (ASC)
