MCWD Water Service Interruption Advisory

There will be water service interruptions in the areas of Brgy. Lahug, Brgy. Apas and Brgy. Guadalupe on August 24, 2018 due to maintenance and emergency repairs in the said areas.

According to Metropolitan Cebu Water District (MCWD), there will a scheduled water service upgrading work on MCWD Well W13B at Langub, Guadalupe, Cebu City on Friday, August 24 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The upgrading work will result to low pressure to no water in affected areas.

Areas affected:

• Sandayong
• Labra St.
• Gabutin St.
• Caballes St.
• Langub St.
• Maria Teresa 1

There will also be an emergency water service interruption along Salinas Drive, Brgy. Lahug, Cebu City due to a transmission leak.

The repair will be done at 2:00 a.m. to 8:00 in the morning. Parts of Brgy. Lahug and Brgy. Apas will be affected by the water service interruption.

There will low pressure to no water in the areas affected by the water service interruption. People in the affected areas are advised to store enough water beforehand.
