PAGASA: 37 Areas Under Storm Signals
State weather agency said Monday that Typhoon Ruby (international name ‘Hagupit’) weakened while crossing the Sibuyan Sea, and remains on track to make a third landfall over northern Mindoro Monday between 6-8 pm.

As of 5 am update, PAGASA said Ruby now had maximum sustained winds of 120 kph, and gusts of up to 150 kph.
At 4 a.m., Ruby was 110 kms northwest of Masbate City or at 50 kms northeast of Romblon, Romblon, moving west-northwest at 10 kph, PAGASA said.
Estimated rainfall within Ruby’s 450 km diameter was from 5 – 15 mm per hour (moderate – heavy), with associated strong winds and storm surges still a danger, report said.
Ruby and the northeast monsoon will cause rough to very rough seas over the seaboards of Luzon and the Visayas. Fisherfolk and small sea craft are advised against sailing over these seaboards, it added.
