4.5-M Filipinos Now Vaccinated
The Department of Health (DOH) announced on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, that there are about 4.5 million Filipinos that are vaccinated as of May 25, 2021.
A total of 4,495,375 Filipinos already vaccinated for COVID-19, among the 4.4 million Filipinos who were vaccinated, 3,466,314 of them have received their first dose of the vaccine.
Meanwhile, the number of fully vaccinated medical frontliners is 581,797, 195,952 are senior citizens, 250,777 were people with comorbidities, and 535 are essential sector front-liners.
National Vaccination Operations Chairperson Myrna Cabotaje said that the vaccination of priority group A4 (frontline personnel in essential sectors, including uniformed personnel) will start in June. (ASC)
