THE New Year promises to be the biggest yet for Cebu Landmasters Inc. (CLI) as it expands in the Visayas and Mindanao with 10 new projects in Cebu, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, Bacolod, Iloilo and Dumaguete this 2017.

The Cebu-based real estate developer, and now the No. 1 local developer in Metro Cebu according to CBRE Philippines (Santos Knight Frank), has set out to expand its leadership in vast economically growing regions south of Manila. This direction captures the market demand and trend of national developers now looking for more opportunities outside of the capital.

To sustain the economy’s 7.1 growth, the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte has programmed some P860 billion for public infrastructure this year. This means more mass transport systems, airports, seaports, bridges and roads. For the construction sector, this kind of aggressive public spending augurs growth and expansion.

Primed for this economic development, CLI’s most prime project set to be launched on February 2017 is “38 Park Avenue”, a high-rise, top-class, New York-inspired condominium situated in a retail plaza and open park at the Cebu Asia Town I.T. Park in Lahug, Cebu City.

CLI is also launching a new second project in Cagayan de Oro City and more projects in Metro Cebu. Proudly homegrown, CLI is riding on the crest of a real estate boom that has taken the country by storm in recent years.

More significant, CLI is simultaneously expanding in four new cities – Davao, Iloilo, Bacolod and Dumaguete.

This 2017 Cebu Landmasters brings you our biggest year yet,” said CLI Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jose R. Soberano III, explaining this was made possible by a hands-on, personalised approach and strategic vision that made the real estate developer the leader in Cebu.

Entering Davao City for the first time with MesaTierra Garden Residences, CLI aims to create tranquil and green living spaces for families and young professionals in this fourth of the company’s garden series that is also set to debut on February 2017.

CLI’s Casa Mira brand is expanding to Dumaguete City and Iloilo. Two Casa Mira Towers will also rise in Bacolod and Guadalupe, Cebu. Aspiring to give More for the Filipino family, Casa Mira is an economic housing community that also provides amenities and more space for its home-owners.

This year’s second quarter will also see the launching of a second project in Cagayan de Oro, the Velmiro Heights. This subdivision development will feature a modern community set on a beautiful rolling terrain that promises to give the height of family life.

Not forgetting CLI’s homecourt, Soberano also announced more developments in Cebu including the opening of MiVesa Garden Residences Phase 3 and Base Line Centre Phase 2, and the launching of mix-use project in A.S. Fortuna in Mandaue City, Cebu.

MiVesa Garden Residences is a modern garden community providing an easy escape for the everyday professional living an active urban life while The Base Line Centre is a residential, lifestyle, and office hub possessing the most desirable location at the heart of midtown Cebu.

“Being from Cebu where we began 12 years ago, gives us a local advantage. Being from the South makes us better placed to provide for the lifestyle and building needs in the Visayas and Mindanao,” said Soberano.
