2 Nabbed in Different Buy-Bust Operations in Talisay City
Talisay City Police, headed by PSUPT Marlu Palomaria Conag, nabbed two drug personalities in two different buy-bust operations. The arrested individuals were arrested in two different dates, May 28 and May 29.
According to the Press Release from the Talisay City Police, Alex Layaog Fortuna, 20 years old, a resident of Brgy. Candulawan, Talisay City, was arrested in possession of 10 small triangular heat-sealed plastic packs containing suspected shabu along with the buy-bust money used for the operation. He was arrested at around 11 in the evening on May 28, 2018 at Brgy. Candulawan, Talisay City. The confiscated contraband weighed 0.55 grams with a street value amounting to ₱5,500.00.
The buy-bust operation was conducted by SPO3 Yvonne Illustrisimo, SPO2 Emerito Sansan, SPO1 Oliver Ortega, PO3 Arthur Santillan, PO2 Stephen Sefuesca, PO2 Raden Escanillan Jr., and PO2 Joseph Bejer with the coordination of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency 7 (PDEA-7).
Another suspected drug peddler was arrested on another buy-bust operation at round 1:00 o’clock in the early morning of May 29, 2018. The arrested supect was Guinever Parame. The married 51 year old suspect is a resident of Brgy. Sangat, San Fernando, Cebu and Sitio Tunga, Brgy. Tanke, Talisay City.
SPO3 Yvonne Illustrisimo, SPO2 Emerito Sansan, SPO1 Oliver Ortega, PO3 Arthur Santillan, PO2 Stephen Sefuesca, PO2 Raden Escanillan Jr., and PO2 Joseph Bejer conducted a buy-bust operation after several reports of Mrs. Guinever peddling drugs.
Guinever was arrested with the possession of 15 triangular small heat-sealed plastic bags that is suspected to be shabu along with the buy-bust money worth ₱ 200.00. The confiscated contraband weighed 0.8 grams with a street value of ₱ 8000.00.
Both arrested individuals are now in custody of the Talisay City Police for further investigation. (Aljun Cainghog)
