How can a tiny baby be the Mighty God?

” A child is given to us, a Son is given to us…And He will called …Mighty God.” Isaiah 9:6

“Suddenly, a terrible storm came up… Jesus… stood up and rebuked the wind and waves, and suddenly all was calm. The disciples just sat there in awe. “Who is this?” they asked themselves. “Even the wind and waves obey Him!” Matthew 8:24, 26-27

It’s hard to picture the baby Jesus as Almighty God. We might see a contrast of Jesus’ birth and the life He led -preaching about the Kingdom of God to the sinners, suffered and died on the cross for us. Indeed, He was mighty enough to create the world, live a sinless life, heal countless people, calm storms, and conquer death. With this truth in mind, this means that He’s mighty enough to conquer our troubles and whatever we’re going through, too!

“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12 (Image credit: walkingonwater.com)

Accept Jesus now as Lord and Savior and spend eternity with Him. The days are coming when it’s near where we’ll gonna see Him up close or for those who have believed become His children (John 1:12), and live forever with Him. A time is coming where the world is coming to an end (whether we like it or not as there are some who oppose such teaching, as this has been prophesied in the Bible -read Rev. 21) and a new habitat for those faithful will be their dwelling place. It’s a perfect place: no pain, no sorrow, no mourning. For God shall be ruler in that habitat. All will be joyous, in abundance and ever pure because “Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.” (v.27).

Hallelujah! Maranatha! Come, Lord Jesus!
