Published

on

Settling in with the new normal as a student could be very stressful and requires a great amount of concentration. For students who are taking online classes, resources in the form of applications and websites are available for online learning and other activities.

As a student myself, I use these resources to help me in my studies. It also allows me to organize my notes and make it easier for me to save, compile, write, and study my modules.

Here are some websites and applications that I deem as useful for my online learning experience that you might want to check out:

Slidesgo

Slidesgo provides a wide range of themes for your presentations. You can search and import themes to your Google Slides or your Powerpoint presentation. It’s free to use and you can pick a theme that suits best for your presentation’s topic.

CamScanner is a great mobile app if you want to scan your documents without having to use a physical scanner. The app also has several other features such as scanning more than one document and compiling them into one. Another great feature is converting your scanned documents into PDF files.

Google Drive is a useful storage app that allows you to store your files and make it accessible on different devices as long as the app is supported. You can also manage your uploaded files by creating a folder. Using a Google account, you can upload and control who can access and view your files. It is a very essential app to have when your PC is already loaded with documents and you are in need of another storage space.

OneTab

OneTab is an extension you can use to group your tabs, rename them, and save them for later use. This is very useful especially if you are doing your research for a paper and it can’t be helped to have multiple tabs open at the same time. OneTab allows you to organize your tabs and group them so that it will be easier to navigate and find specific sites you have opened.

These resources are just some of the things that a student might find helpful and useful. To my fellow students who are taking online classes, we take great consideration in the resources we need for our learning experience. With the pandemic that is still looming around us, we continue to adjust to the so-called new normal that has affected our studies.
