Nursing Grad Nabbed for Illegal Drugs

A nursing graduate was arrested for allegedly selling ecstasy and cocaine during a buy-bust operation conducted by the Cebu City Police Office’s Intelligence Branch in Tres Borces St., Barangay Mabolo last night.

Police identified the victim as Kenneth Rosales, 25, a resident of the said place. Rosales was arrested after selling a capsule of ecstasy, a prohibited drug, to a poseur buyer. Also found from the suspect’s possession were 13 more ecstasy capsules, 12 medium-size packets of cocaine and P21,000 cash believed to be proceeds from selling the illegal drugs.

Authorities believed that Rosales sold his stuff to patrons of local disco bars in Cebu City. He is now detained at the city jail waiting for the criminal complaints to be lodged against him within the day.
