One Suspect of Sambag I Shoot Out Surrenders

The suspect who was involved in a shootout which resulted to two victims taken in Brgy. Sambag I, Cebu City surrenders to the authorities a few hours after he fled the scene on January 21, 2018.

Around 12 in the afternoon Vincent Naveles, 41 a resident of Brgy. Pardo, Cebu City got in touch with a police officer and was advised to surrender to the authorities.

Navales was then escorted by 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) and Naga Police personnel to Fuente Police Station 2.

Around 7 pm he was formally turn-over to PCINSP Edward Sanchez, commander of Fuente Police Station 2.

Sambag I Shooting Incident Cost 3 Lives

Former friends feud and ends up in a shooting spree claiming three lives on January 21, 2018 in Brgy. Sambag I, Cebu City.

Around 6 am, Vincent Navales and Vanzant Navales arrived in the Bacaltos residence, ending up in a bad confrontation that led to the deaths of Vanzant Navales who died on the spot, and Edwin Bacaltos, Shaun Bacaltos who were later declared dead in a hospital. (ASC)
