Quirino Police New Prov’l Director Assumes Post

Provincial Director Gregory Bogñalbal turned over his post to Police Senior Superintendent Renato B. Mallonga, the new provincial director of the Quirino Police Provincial Office effective Saturday, December 15.

According to Police Superintendent Chevalier Iringan, chief of Regional Public Information Office, no less than Regional Director Jose Mario M. Espino administered the turn-over ceremony morning of Dec. 15 at the Police Regional Office Conference Hall.

During the ceremony, Espino challenged incoming Provincial Director Mallonga to sustain the drive of the Philippine National Police against insurgents saying that PD Bogñalbal was able to sustain it through constant coordination with the Armed forces of the Philippines counterpart.

“Do not forsake our Patrol Beat System,” Espino told Mallonga as he urged the officers of the QPPO to give their utmost support to their incoming provincial director as they are facing a big task this month because of the anniversary of the New Peoples Army.

Espino congratulated outgoing police director Bogñalbal for excellently performing his duties and responsibilities in maintaining the peace and order situation in the province especially on insurgency matters.

The PRO-2 director also commended Bogñalbal for being the first provincial director who complied to his directive in Patrol Base System and Proactive Patrolling.

Bogñalbal who served as provincial director of QPPO from May 2017 to December 14, 2018 will soon be an officer of the Office of the Directorate of Operations.

The new provincial director, PSSupt. Mallonga assured that he will use his experience as chief of the regional Detection and Investigation Management Division in his new job to maintain the peace and order situation and continue the good relationship of PNP Quirino with its stakeholders.
