Parents, Child Dies in a Vehicular Accident
An accident killed a family who was going home from a Christmas Party after a tanker hit them along Osmeña St. on December 13, 2018.
According to Facebook post of Nagiel Bañacia, head of the Cebu Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, said that the family on board a motorcycle was traversing the area going to Liloan from a Christmas Party around 9:30 p.m. when a Tanker side-swept them leading to the instantaneous death of the mother whose head was ran over by the tanker.
The father and the child who was severely injured were brought to the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center but did not survive.
Both parents were security guards and was attending the father’s Office Christmas Party.
The driver of the tanker is currently detained at Mabolo Police Station. (Aljun S. Cainghog)
