Fire Razes 100 Houses in Brgy. Kamputhaw
Around 100 houses were left to ashes after a fire broke out in Purok 3 Upper, Brgy. Kamputhaw, Cebu City on Wednesday, December 5, 2018.
According to Bureau of Fire Protection – Cebu City Chief Inspector Noel Nelson Ababon, the fire alarm was received by the Cebu CIty Fire Station around 10:20 A.M. and was raised to second alarm around 10:25 A.M., then raised to third alarm on 10:27 A.M. and finally raised to Task Force Alpha around 10:45 A.M, prompting fire stations from farther places to respond to the fire.
Some of the fire trucks were pulled-out after the fire was put under control around 11:15 A.M.
According to Kamputhaw Brgy. Captain Jessa Cadungog around 100 houses and not less than 1000 individuals were affected by the fire.
The cost of damage of the fire was pegged to be P1,000,000.
