3 Cebuanos Top CE Licensure Exams
Three Cebuanos passed with flying colors in the Civil Engineering (CE) Licensure Exams this November this year.
Two graduates from the University of San Carlos (USC) placed 6th and 9th respectively in the recent CE licensure exams.
Kevin Miscala Melendres placed 6th passed with a rating of 94.65%, while John Ivan Manticajon Gapud had a rating of 94.30% placed 9th.
Another Cebuano also topped the licensure exams. University of Cebu (UC) graduate Jared Bihag Jumalon placed 10th with a rating of 94.25%.
Jaydee Niere Lucero of University of the Philippines- Diliman placed first with a 97.20%.
According to the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC)
Only 6,262out of 13,887 or 45.09% successful passed the CE licensure examinations.
The November 2018 Board Licensure Exam for Civil Engineers was administered by the PRC Board of Civil Engineering headed by its Chairman, Engr. Praxedes P. Bernardo; and its members Engr. Pericles P. Dakay and Engr. Romeo A. Estañero on November 10 & 11, 2018 at PRC testing centers in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
