Sing Your Way to Japan, Join the 2019 J-Pop Anime Singing Contest

J-Pop Anime fans will have the chance to sing their way to Japan, as the Embassy of Japan is inviting all J-pop-loving amateur Pinoy solo or duo singers to join the 2019 J-Pop Anime Singing Contest.

The contest is set on Feb. 16, 2019 at the SM Cinema Centerstage, SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City, from 1:00PM to 5:00PM.

Interested participants must submit their accomplished application form, photo, copy of the song lyrics with the name of the original artist/s, a short write-up about the participant (50-100 words), and a link to an uploaded video performance of one or two songs combined not exceeding three minutes on Youtube. All entries must be e-mailed to jicc-mnl@mofa.go.jp on or before January 11, 2019 (Friday).

Chosen finalists will get a chance to win a three-day trip to Japan valid until March 2019 for two (2) and other exciting prizes.

The 2019 J-pop Anime Singing Contest is organized by the Embassy of Japan in cooperation with The Japan Foundation, Manila (JFM), All Nippon Airways, Ajinomoto Philippines, Bandai Namco Philippines Inc., Canon Marketing Philippines, Center for Pop Music Philippines, HERO, Lotte Confectionery Pilipinas Corporation, Nihongo Center Foundation, Panasonic Philippines Corporation, Sony Philippines, SM Cinema Centerstage, SM Mall of Asia, SM Supermalls, Toei Animation Philippines, Inc., Universal Holidays, Inc., Yakult Philippines, and Yoshinoya.
