SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the eye of Typhoon “Kong-Rey” (formerly Queenie) was located at 825 km North Northeast of Basco, Batanes (26.9N, 126.0E) [Outside PAR] with maximum sustained winds of 120 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 145 km/h. Moving North Northwest at 25 km/h.
FORECAST: Visayas, Palawan, and Occidental Mindoro will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Slight to moderate winds blowing from the Northwest to Southwest will prevail over Palawan, Occidental Mindoro, and from the Southeast to South will prevail over Visayas with slight to moderate seas.
