SYNOPSIS: 3:00 AM today, Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 95 km West Northwest of Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro (13.6ºN, 120.3ºE). Meanwhile, another Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 620 km Northeast of Basco, Batanes (23.6ºN, 126.9ºE). Southwest Monsoon affecting Luzon and Visayas
FORECAST:
Western Visayas, Palawan and Occidental Mindoro will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the Low Pressure Area/Southwest monsoon. Central & Eastern Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds from the Southwest to South will prevail over Visayas, Palawan and Occidental Mindoro and the coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
