17 Arrested in a Drug Den in Dumaguete City, P200k Worth of Drugs Recovered

A drug den in Zone 2, Brgy. Looc, Dumaguete City was dismantled after the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) 7 – Negros Oriental Province conducted a buy bust operation in the area on the September 1, 2018.

The buy bust operation led to the arrest of drug den maintainer Wilfreda Semetara while Arnold Dela Cruz, Delberto Ramiers, Nexan Pacata, Sunny Boy Dela Cerna, Jemar Calente, Jerry Paner, Benny Argones, Patrick Narciso, Eugene Engreso, Samson Fabugaes, Nelson Abrasaldo, Archie Audeje, Daryl Joyohoy, Neil Raboy, Jerry Catipay and Nolfo Patalita were also arrested in the operation.

About 30 grams were recovered in the operation that has an estiamted market value of P204, 000. Other drug paraphernalia and cellular phones were also recovered.

The arrested individuals will face charges in violation of Section 5, 6, 7, 11 and 12 of Article II of R.A. 9165 also known as Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (Aljun S. Cainghog)
