75 Arrested While 3 Dead in a OTBT Op by PRO 7

3 people are dead while 75 people were arrested in a “One Time Big Time Operation” (OTBT) by the Police Regional Office 7 on August 23, 2018.

The three individuals were killed in the operation were Parolito Obrero, which was killed by the Talisay City police; Phil John edizan was also killed by Moalboal police officers and Eugene Fermin was also killed by the Mandaue City police.

All fatalities in the OTBT operation were said to have fought with the police officers prompting the officers to retaliate resulting to their deaths.

The operation retrieved 240 grams of shabu which is valued at P2.1 million.

It was remembered that President Rodrigo Duterte said on August 22 that almost all of the Cebu cops including their officers are linked to drugs.

Police Regional Office 7 – Chief Supt. Debold Sinas said that they did not perform the OTBT operation to prove the president wrong but said that the operation was already planned weeks before. (ASC)
