13 Nabbed in Talisay Drug Den
13 were arrested as a result of the joint buy-bust operation of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) VII and Talisay City Police in a drug den at Sitio San Jose, Brgy. Dumlog, Talisay City on August 17, 2018.
The anti-drug operation led to the arrest of drug den maintainers Geffrey Sonsona and Rejoy Sembrano.
The PDEA VII and Talisay City Police also arrested drug den visitors Jacqueline Pelemar, Elmer Magbanua, Dennis De Gracia, Jenneth Cauba, Raymond Besin, Kevin Basillote, Gilbert Hernandez Jevanni Baron, Jeffrey Silmeros, Jessie Enario, and Jeffrey Baguio.
The operation also led to the confiscation of more or less 12 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated market value of P81,600, assorted drug paraphernalias, and cash amounting to P2,960.
The arrested individuals will face charges in violation of Sections 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, Article II of RA 9165 and are now detained at the Talisay City lock-up facility. (ASC)
