Capitol’s Fiesta Sa Kabataan Delights 300 Kids
More than 300 kids were treated to a day of fun and games during the “Fiesta sa Kabataan,” which was part of the 449th Founding Anniversary celebration of Cebu Province last Monday.
The kiddie party was organized by the Provincial Administrator’s Office and the Provincial Human Resource Management Office.
Bonifer Nacorda, HRMO head, said the event is one way of taking care of the Capitol employees. He explained that if the employees’ family members are happy, particularly the children, this would have a good effect on the workers as well.

Also, the activity did not only accommodate the children of the Capitol employees, but also other kids who wanted to join in the celebration.
The children were delighted by the magic show, cosplayers, and the Jollibee mascot, together with the rest of his Jollitown gang.
They also indulged in delicious food, like burgers, hotdogs and cotton candy, among others, as well as enjoyed playing at the inflatable playground set up in front of the Capitol main building.
The kid’s alertness and skills were put to test in the various games like Calamansi Relay, The Boat is Sinking, and Bring Me.

Besides toys, fun prizes for the winners also included some advice and inspirational quotes, such as “Love your parents,” and “Respect the elders.”
