SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, Tropical Depression Karding was estimated based on all available data at 1,150 km East of Calayan, Cagayan (19.2 N, 132.4 E) with maximum winds of 55 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 65 km/h. It remains almost stationary. Southwest Monsoon affecting the whole country.
FORECAST:
Western Visayas, Palawan and Occidental Mindoro will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms, while rest of Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains or thunderstorms due to Southwest monsoon.
Strong to gale force winds blowing from the Southwest will prevail over Palawan and Occidental Mindoro with rough to very rough seas.
Moderate to strong winds from the Southwest will prevail over Visayas with moderate to rough seas.
