VECO Power Outage Schedules August 4 – 10, 2018

Power outages will be experienced in different barangays in Cebu from August 4, 2018 to August 10, 2018.

Visayan Electric Company (VECO) is doing maintenance works in affected areas including rerouting of primary lines, reconstruction of primary lines, and upgrading transformers. The power outages may last upto 8 hours.

August 4 (Saturday)
[1] Time: 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. (8hrs)
Purpose: To facilitate extension of primary lines
Areas affected:
Portion of Cebu City (Capitol Site) along Don J. LLorente & Walingwaling Sts. including Cebu Cherish School & Breath Always Good Air Inc.

[2] Time: 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. (6hrs)
Purpose: To facilitate upgrading of transformer
Areas affected:
Portion of Talisay City (Dumlog) along Bascon, Palui Island & Longein Sts. including portion of Sitios Baybay, Roma, Lemonsitohan, Kalubihan, Karumahan & Mangahan, Deca Homes Subd.,San Pio Village, Las Vasmun Homes Inc. & BP Waterworks, Inc.

Purpose: To facilitate upgrading of transformer
