Power Outage Schedules for July 28 – August 3, 2018

Visayan Electric Company (VECO) released their power outages schedules for July 28, 2018 to August 3, 2018.

This will give way for maintenance related works such as facilitating the upgrading of transformers, relocation of poles, reconductoring of primary lines etc. The power outage may last for 8 hours.

Here are the schedules:

July 28 (Saturday)
[1]Time: 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. (4hrs)
Purpose: To facilitate upgrading of transformer. Areas affected: Portion of Cebu City (Bacayan) including portion of Sitio Sugarlandia, Deca Homes Subd. & PLDT
[2]Time: 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. (3hrs)
Purpose: To facilitate upgrading of transformer. Areas affected: Portion of Cebu City (Bacayan & Pit-os) along Ruby St. including portion of Sitio Pundok, Villa Leyson Subd. & Deca Homes Subd.
[3]Time: 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. (7hrs)
Purpose: To facilitate upgrading of transformer. Areas affected: Portion of Cebu City (Guadalupe) along R. Duterte, M. Velez, Banana & Riverside Sts., including portion of Sitios Riverside & Kana-as, Newluxe International Inc., Eloy’s Merchandise Inc. M3 & Pawnsoft Services Inc. [4]Time: 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. (7hrs)
Purpose: To facilitate upgrading of transformer. Areas affected: Portion of Naga City (Inayagan & Tuyan) including portion of Sitios Bayong, Tabtuy & Ababan Maximo Chapel
[5] Time: 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. (8hrs)
Purpose: To facilitate relocation of pole Areas affected: Portion of Cebu City (Sta. Cruz & Cogon Ramos) along Pelaez, F. Ramos & Villanueva Sts. including portion of Sitio San Anton, Velez College Inc., Matilde Realty Corp., Forroza Land Development Corp., Rep Consolidated Corp.

July 29 (Sunday)
[1] Time: 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. (8hrs)
Purpose: To facilitate relocation of pole Areas affected: Portion of Mandaue City (Tipolo & Bakilid) along Sacris Rd., P. Basubas & St Nichols Sts. including portion of Villanueva Cmpd., Benedict Ventures Inc. & Sto Nino Chapel
[2]Time: 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. (6hrs)
Purpose: To facilitate upgrading of transformer. Areas affected: Portion of Mandaue City (Bakilid & Maguikay) along L. Jayme St., including Zimmer Holding Inc.
[3] Time: 7:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. (8hrs)
Purpose: To facilitate reconductoring of primary line Areas affected: Portion of Cebu City (Guadalupe) along V. Rama Ave., Don Gervacio, Modesta & Cabajar Sts., including portion of Sitios Sambag 4 & Sambag II, V. Rama Nichols Subd. & Vicsal Dev’t Corp TM Nichols Park Subd.

July 31 – Aug 1 (Tuesday – Wednesday)
[1]Time: 10:00 P.M.of July 31 to 6:00 A.M. of Aug 1(8hrs)
Purpose: To facilitate tapping of newly extended primary lines Areas affected: Portion of Cebu City (Camputhaw & Lahug) along Gorordo Ave., Rosal, Morales, Reyes, Escario, Sampaguita & J. Reyes Sts. including portion of Kintanar Cmpd. & UP Cmpd., Food & Beverage Inc., Cebu Cable TV Management Corp., San Roque and Sta Cruz Chapel.

August 2 (Thursday)
[1] Time: 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. (8hrs)
Purpose: To facilitate relocation of pole Areas affected: Portion of Mandaue City (Tipolo) along P. Basubas St. including portion of Mangubat Cmpd., Judeans Cmpd., Retuya Cmpd., Basubas Cmpd., Maghanoy Cmpd. & Estrera Cmpd.,Southeast Asia Food Inc., Federal North Hardware, Inc.,Casera Realty Corporation, Universal Foods Corp.,SMC Consolidated Power Corporation & St. Jude Chapel.
