Conag: Talisay City is Still Safe
After a series of shooting incidents at Talisay City, PSUPT Marlu Conag said Talisay City is still safe.
Conag said in a interview that the public should not be afraid because of the intensified anti-drug operations but the criminals are the ones who should be afraid.
“…The public should not be afraid, however the criminals has the right to be worried because of the continuous police operations in the City”. Conag said.
Conag added that the series of shootings that happened were mostly drug related as drug syndicates are trying to silence members who threaten to leak information about their illegal operations.
He also said that it is not yet alarming and people are actually happy because of the positive effect of successful anti-drug operations.
“The series of shooting incidents now is not yet alarming, actually many people are thankful because of the positive effect of it,” he said.
