Talisay Police Busts More than P300k Worth of Illegal Drugs
Talisay City Police, headed by PSUPT Marlu Conag, nabbed more than P300k worth of illegal drugs on July 3 during a buy-bust operation that was conducted at Sitio Bridgeville, Brgy Bulacao, Talisay City.
The buy-bust operation led to the arrest of four newly identified drug personalities.
According to the Talisay City Police press release, the police operatives arrested Jeffrey Fernandez, 33 years old; Ramer Go Taninco a.k.a “Insik Dodong”; Hienson Ignacio Orbiso, 31 years old, and Milben Rivera Abangan a.k.a “Benhur”.
A total of 56 sachets of suspected shabu were found: 48 small-sized and 8 medium-sized sachets. Recovered contraband had an estimated total weight of 47.6 grams with a total worth of P310,500.00.
The arrested individuals were detained at the Talisay City lock-up facility and will face charges in violation of Sec. 11, Article II of R.A. 9165 while evidences were submitted to Regional Crime Laboratory Office (RCLO) 7. (Aljun S. Cainghog)
