SYNOPSIS: As of 3:00 AM today,the Low Pressure Area(LPA) embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) was estimated, based on all available data, at 795 km East of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte (10.0N, 132.7E).
FORECAST: Eastern and Central Visayas will have cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms due to LPA. Western Visayas will be cloudy with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to ITCZ, while Palawan and Occidental Mindoro will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers.
Moderate to strong winds from the Southwest to South will prevail over Palawan and Occidental Mindoro and the coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Moderate to occasionally strong winds will prevail over Visayas and the coastal waters will be moderate to occasionally rough.
