SYNOPSIS: As of 3:00 AM today,the Low Pressure Area(LPA) embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) was estimated, based on all available data, at 655 km East of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte (10.7N, 131.4E).
FORECAST:
Eastern Visayas will have cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms due to LPA. The rest of Visayas, and Palawan will be cloudy with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to ITCZ, while Occidental Mindoro will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers.
Moderate to strong winds from the Southwest to South will prevail over Palawan, from Southwest to West over Western Visayas and Mindanao, from Northeast to Northwest over the rest of Visayas, and the coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Light to moderate winds will prevail over the Occidental Mindoro and the coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
