CIADMLC Urges LGUs to Help Fight Dengue

Cebu International Anti-Dengue Mosquito Larvicide Campaign (CIADMLC) head urged local government units (LGU) to help in the massive campaign against dengue disease.

Doctor Wyber Briones, chief of CIADMLC, said they can only successfully fight the virus if the LGUs will also do their share. This Thursday an anti-dengue campaign seminar will be held at the Cebu Grand Hotel in the hopes to spread more awareness on this deadly illness.

The Department of Health 7 data shows that more than 5,000 cases of dengue were recorded in Central Visayas from January to May this year, 17 of these are fatalities.
