CCCI Announces Board of Trustees and Officers for 2018

The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) recently concluded the election of its Board of Trustees (BOT) on February 23 at the Summit Galleria Hotel, Cebu City. The CCCI general membership elected new Trustees encompassing various sectors of Cebu’s business community effective March 2018 until February 2020.

The new Board of Trustees was sworn into Office by PCCI Vice President for the Visayas Samuel Chioson during the Joint BOT Meeting last February 28 at the Cebu Chamber Centre.

Elected President (March 2018 to February 2019) by consensus vote of confidence of the Board of Trustees is Consul Antonio “Jimjim” Chiu from the industry sector.

Ms. Melanie C. Ng, CCCI Immediate Past President, welcomes in great joy the new CCCI President Consul Antonio “Jimjim” Chiu and deems that he would lead the Chamber to greater heights together with the 2018 new Board.

Ms. Ng further noted that with the dynamic leadership of President Jimjim, the Chamber would embark on even more relevant projects for the benefit of CCCI members.

President Tony Chiu thanked the Trustees for their trust and vote of confidence and promised to harness the passion of the Trustees to serve and be relevant to the well-being of Cebu’s business community in particular and to the island’s economic growth and development.
