Visayas Weather Forecast: October 27, 2017

Synopsis: At 3:00 am today, the center of Severe Tropical Storm “Quedan“ was estimated based on all available data at 915km East of Basco, Batanes (20.4N, 130.7E) with maximum sustained winds of 90 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 115 km/h. It is forecast to move North Northwest at 21 km/h. Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Mindanao.

FORECAST:

Cebu & the rest of Visayas and Occidental Mindoro will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. While, Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the North to Northwest will prevail over Visayas, Palawan & Occidental Mindoro. The coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.
