Love Thyself as Thy Neighbor

Jesus said, “Love thy neighbor as Thyself”,

Not love your neighbor instead;

To better deliver the message of Him,

We must by His blessings be fed.

Let yourself be happy

And rejoice in good things

Our wonderful God

In his love for you brings.

It’s not a sin for you

to be blessed by God’s hand;

If you enjoy life as given

He will not reprimand;

And besides there’s no better

Message to share

With neighbors you know

And about whom you care

Than the massage that Jesus

Give us blessings so many

That we can share with a neighbor

Without losing any.
