Rico’s Lechon Stevie Awards Pushes to Strengthen Campaign
Just weeks after Cebu’s best lechon maker, Rico’s Lechon, received the Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards in Tokyo, Japan, the management eyes to strengthen its marketing campaign and looks to offer even better service.
On June 2, Rico’s Lechon founder and chief executive officer Enrico Dionson and sales and marketing head Jeff Walther Oyas flew to Japan to personally receive their Silver award for Asia-Pacific Stevies’ Innovation in Media Relations for their nationwide campaign #DaBestGyud.
“Winning the Stevies Awards is just the start of the company’s many more campaigns in the future. This would help us realize our aspiration and dreams so we can effectively connect to the people we serve. This recognition can help strengthen our brand and help gain more awareness to our clients that we are a company that stands for excellence and that we are truly #DaBestGyud,” said Oyas in a statement.
The #DaBestGyud marketing campaign, which kick started in last year, led to the company’s expansion with two additional branches built in two key areas in Cebu—Mactan and Escario. The award-winning campaign not only contributed to the increased demand of their specialty lechon but it also helped widen their reach, boosting the company’s presence not only in Cebu but in Manila as well.
“It is a great honor not only for our company but for our country – the Philippines to be recognized in this level,” Oyas added.
Although winning a prestigious award like Stevie has set the bar higher for Rico’s Lechon, the company is committed to take on the challenge as well as the responsibilities it entail. This means more campaigns will be set in place in the future to better position the brand and broaden the scope of services offered.
Moving forward, the company is looking for the next best location to open another branch of their restaurant, most likely in the southern part of Cebu City.
Stevie Awards competitions receive more than 10,000 entries each year from organizations in more than 60 nations. It honors organizations of all types and sizes and the people behind them for their outstanding performances in the workplace worldwide.
