Tropical Depression Seen Outside PAR
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) sees a tropical depression (TD) some 1,757 km east of Mindanao, outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
The state weather bureau said that TD has a maximum winds of 55 kph and gustiness of 70 kph.
TD was forecast to move west northwest at 23 kph.
Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be experienced over Ilocos region, Cordillera, Caraga and Cagayan Valley likely until Thursday.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies will prevail over the rest of the country, with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly over the eastern section, PAGASA added.
According to PAGASA, northeast monsoon affects northern Luzon.
Moderate to occasionally strong winds will blow from northeast over northern Luzon, and its coastal waters will be moderate to occasionally rough.
Elsewhere,PAGASA said winds will be light to moderate coming from east to northeast with slight to moderate seas. (PNA) /MCCA/RSM
