Children of Asia’s Show & Tell

Last November 26, Children of Asia Philippines held its Show & Tell at Best Western Lex Hotel to attract individuals and companies to get to know more about what they do for the underprivileged children here in Cebu.

Enfants d’Asie (french words of Children of Asia) is a non-profit, non-political, non-religious NGO based in Paris which was founded in 1991. The organization operates in Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and the Philippines. To this date, they already have supported 10,000 children in 25 years.

The French organization’s mission is to provide the basic needs of children in distress such as shelter, comprehensive care, educational sponsorship and girl’s empowerment. Not only that, they also conduct training and orientation guidance starting Grade 8 scholars to be more competitive on the job market. These include company visit, complementary courses in IT and English, professional mentoring and career guidance.

Enfants d’Asie also has a livelihood program for the parents in isolated communities to provide the best services possible to their beneficiaries.
