Yamaha Celebrates the 1st Caloocan Motorcycle Festival
A first for the city of Caloocan and a major occasion for the industry of motorcycles, the 1st ever Caloocan Motorcycle Festival took place as the city was the declared the Motorcycle Trading Capital of the Philippines and Yamaha was in full support.
Occupying the stretch of 10th Avenue to the corner of B.Serrano, Yamaha provided every facet of motorcycle excellence to everyone in attendance. On display were the Mio Motorcycles which are the core of the Ride your story campaign, the Mio Sporty, Mio i 125, Mio Soul i 125, and Mio 125 MXi. The Bolt, Super Tenere, TMAX, YZF-R1, MT-07, and MT-09 were also on display for everyone to see Yamaha’s BIG BIKE lineup. If that wasn’t enough, the latest product to be launched in by the company, the Fierce Xperience, the TFX-150 was also part of the celebration which was seen in action during the Moto Gymkhana competition with a novice and expert category, the competition included an AT Open Category, Underbone Open Category, and Street Category as well.
Those who did not know how to ride a motorcycle were not left behind because of the Yamaha Safe Riding Science Program for Women which were conducted during the event. Women aged 16 y/o and above were given taught by Yamaha Certified Instructors in a lecture room on the basics of motorcycle use and the rules of the road. The participants were then given hands on tutorial of riding a motorcycle on a specialized track. Yamaha Club members that arrived in the venue were entitled to exclusive items such as a personalized Yamaha Fierce Shirt. The evening program provided entertainment for everyone in Caloocan with performances from the Sassy Girls, TJ Monterde, Ella Cruz, and Rico Blanco.
Now that a milestone for the riding industry has been declared, Yamaha showcased it support for the entire riding community and will continue to do so by continuing to Rev Hearts that of those who share their passion for riding.
