Tourism Job Fair

Twenty-seven different Tourism Value Chain companies were present during the Tourism Job Fair which opened last June 15 at the Marco Polo Hotel.

Tourism is a double digit contributor in the economic growth in Cebu. There has been a 14% increase in tourism in the last 5 years. Due to this increase, companies such as airlines, hotels, infrastructure, resorts, and restaurants are in need of talents.

Companies present during the job fair include Airlines companies such as Cebu Pacific Air and Philippine Airlines; and Hotels such as Cebu City Marriott Hotel, Cebu Grand Hotel, Crown Regency Hotels and Resorts, Marco Polo Plaza Cebu, Radisson Blu Hotel, and the Quest Hotel.

Popular resorts such as Bluewaters Maribago Resort, Movenpick Hotel & Resort, Plantation Bay Resort & Spa were also present.

Restaurants or popular food chains such as Dunkin Donuts, Julie’s Bakeshop, Sunpride Foods Inc, and the Abaca Group were in need of HR personnel, advertisers, marketing and salespeople.
