eLocker PH to Launch First Laundry Lockers in the Philippines
The first of its kind in the country, eLocker’s laundry lockers are going to be available at JSU-PSU Mariner’s Court starting Saturday.
eLocker offers 24/7 digital laundry services through lockers placed strategically in condominiums, apartment buildings, and public places such as gas stations. Clients just have to drop off and pick up their laundry at the lockers. The rest of the process–placing an order, payment, setting laundry preferences–is done online or through SMS.
“I started this business to meet the laundry needs of busy, on-the-go professionals,” Randy Piramide, eLocker’s founder and lead developer, said. “Right now, laundry shops have limited business hours, which makes it difficult for busy clients to drop off or pick up their laundry. I think our 24/7 locker-based laundry service is a more convenient alternative.”
eLocker also offers order tracking and comprehensive clothes tagging through Radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology. Clients can check the status of their order and even verify the clothes they’ve dropped off in their account dashboard.
eLocker’s current laundry partner is Laba Masters laundry shop, which is also owned by Piramide. As the tech startup expands to more locations and buildings, Piramide also plans to partner with other laundry shops.
JSU-PSU Mariner’s Court is eLocker’s first location.
