AXA Philippines Appoints New President And CEO

AXA Philippines announces the appointment of Rahul Hora as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective April 1, 2016.

With over 15 years of experience, Rahul first joined AXA in 2007 as the Regional Head of Distribution for AXA Asia Life in Hong Kong. In 2009, Rahul served as Chief Agency Officer, where and in 2015, he was appointed as Chief Operating Officer
under his leadership, the business value of the channel grew by more than 11 times and the number of active advisors grew by more than 400%. He was appointed as Chief Operating Officer in 2015, where he played an instrumental part in driving the Digital Transformation of the company.

Rahul is succeeding Rien Hermans, who joined AXA Philippines as President and CEO in 2009. After seven years at the helm, Hermans has decided to leave the company to pursue opportunities outside of AXA.
