Siddhartha The Musical

Siddhartha The Musical ,Cebu’s longest running original music is based on the book ” The Biography of the Sakyamuni Buddha by Ven.Master Hsing Yun,founder of the Fo Guang Shan Buddhist order and the Buddha’s Light International Association (BLIA).

Since its opening in the Waterfront Grand Ballroom in 2007 ,Siddhartha has gone places.It has mark in Manila ,Iloilo,Bacolod ,Taiwan,the USA,Singapore and Malaysia and soon in Hongkong ,Macau and New Zealand .This musical is truly a home-grown gem,a proud collaboration of Cebuano talent,award – winning songwriter Jude Gitamondoc (book and music) artistic director Sarah Mae Enclona-Henderson ,choreographer Vince Gaton and costume designer OJ Hoper.

On March 19 (8p.m) and March 20 (2.30p.m and 8 p.m) the play will be shown at SM Seaside City Cebu’s Centerstage.
