Shirt Collection Paying Homage To Childhood Game

Published

on

Zerothreetwo, a clothing and media company based in Cebu spreading the good stuff, released their latest shirt collection called GAMES. The collection features three designs: Kaka (a spider peeking out of its matchbox home), Shooting Stars (the intergalactic game played inside notebooks) and Games (a shirt with print all over stating many childhood games like Pulis Dungab, Japanese Game, Dakop Dakop, etc.). These shirts are available in select Zerothreetwo stockists like The Assembly in JY Square, The Assembly Online Store, Republik in Banilad Town Centre, Hip Street in Ayala Center Cebu and American Blvd in SM City Cebu.

As with many of the designs from Zerothreetwo, nostalgia played an integral role. According to Carlo Villarica, Zerothreetwo’s Kung Fu Panda, Our chief designer Jake Maningo did a great job immortalizing the good old days with a simple t-shirt; a time when kids used to play with real things instead of screens, when play meant getting sweaty from running around under the sun, when strategy meant hiding from the police in Pulis Dungab, when home base meant a corner of a piece of paper lovingly drawn to play shooting stars.”

To showcase the GAMES Collection, Zerothreetwo photographed a lookbook: -Tony Alfonso, of rock band Drop Decay, donned the new shirts for the lookbook. -Photographers Jason Almendras and Carlo Villarica conceptualized and executed the shoot.
