Changes Of Official Schedule for 79th Cebu City Charter Anniversary

There will be some minor changes and addition in schedule of the remaining activities for the 79th Cebu City Charter Anniversary celebration.

The opening of the Service Showcase Exhibit featuring the services and achievements of the 22 Departments comprising the city supposedly set last February 18 Thursday is moved on February 22 Monday at Cinema B Lobby of SM City Cebu.

The “Employee’s Night” also dubbed as “Super Show” will be held as scheduled today February 19 Friday, 5pm at the Plaza Sugbo.

There will be additional activity which is Charter Day Fun Run in the Block 27 North Reclamation Area tomorrow February 20 Saturday morning. The awarding of Outstanding Employees will be done in the evening of the same day which will be conducted in the Cebu Parklane International Hotel.

The Don Vicente Rama Memorial Lecture is set on February 22 Monday in the University of San Carlos Main Campus while the Quiz Bowl is set on the same day in the Cebu City Social Hall.

The awarding of the Outstanding Youth Leaders which is originally set on February 23 Tuesday is rescheduled on March 11 Friday at the Sinulog Hall or Rizal Museum and Public Library Building.

On the big day February 24, the original schedule will be pushed through. In the morning there will be a Holy Mass, Flag-raising Ceremony and Floral Offering to the monument of Don Vicente Rama at the Plaza Sugbo. The “Testimonial Dinner” will be conducted on the same day in Raddison Blu Hotel.
