The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Friday that except for isolated raisnhowers or thunderstorms, most parts of the country will experience fair weather because of the presence easterlies affecting the country.
In its advisory, PAGASA said this is due to easterlies or warm winds from the east that now prevails over the eastern section of the country.

It added moderate to strong winds blowing from the east will prevail over the eastern section of the country and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the east to northeast with slight to moderate seas.
The state-run weather bureau also issued gale warning due to strong gale force winds associated with northeasterly to easterly wind flow as the sea condition will be rough to very rough is expected to affect the eastern seaboard of Southern Luzon and of Visayas.
“Fishing boats and other small seacrafts are advised not to venture out into the sea while larger sea vessels are alerted against big waves,” it warned. (PNA) JBP/CLTC
