Aboitiz Aids Fire Victims

The Aboitiz Foundation, the social development arm of the Aboitiz Group, reached out to nearly 200 families recently affected by a fire in Sitio San Isidro Labrador, Barangay Quiot Pardo, Cebu City. The Foundation, together with the volunteers from Visayan Electric Company, Aboitiz Equity Ventures and Cebu City Resources Management and Development Center (CREMDEC), distributed relief packs containing food and non-food items to evacuees at Quiot Elementary School.

Displaced families expressed gratitude for the assistance. Established in 1988, the Aboitiz Foundation continues to pursue its mission to help people help themselves, implementing CSR interventions especially in communities where Aboitiz companies operate. The Foundation focuses its efforts on education, enterprise development, environment and health and well-being.
