US Embassy To Implement New Visa Appointment System Staring February 1

The United States Embassy in Manila recently announced of the new Visa appointment system which will take effect on February 1, 2016.

In an advisory, starting February 1, Immigrant Visa interviews will be scheduled at 6:45am, 7:30am, 8:15am and 9:00am.

Embassy personnel will facilitate entry of immigrant visa applicants 15 minutes prior to their respective interview time slot.

The advisory added that all applicants who arrive earlier than 15 minutes before their interview time will be asked to wait outside the Embassy premises.

According to the US Embassy, the new system is part of their continuing efforts to ensure the highest level of customer service, thereby minimize waiting time of applicants. (US EMBASSY MANILA/RJB/JEG/PIA-NCR)
