Zambo City Government Employees to Receive Year-end Bonus on Nov. 16

Zamboanga City (PNA) -– The employees of the city government are set to receive their remaining year-end bonus and cash gift on Monday, November 16.

It is in pursuant to a memorandum issued by Mayor Ma. Isabelle Climaco-Salazar dated October 27 ordering the release of the benefits to qualified city government employees on Monday.

Salazar said the year-end bonus is equivalent to one-half of the one month basic pay as of October 31 of this year.

In addition, Salazar said that a PHP5,000 cash gift shall be granted to each personnel who has rendered at least a total or aggregate of four months service from January 1 to October 31 of the same year.

Salazar has directed all department heads and offices to prepare their payrolls to facilitate the processing of the Obligation Request (ObR).

The disbursement of the year-end bonus and cash gift shall be in accordance with the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

Salazar said the payment of the year-end bonus and cash gift is pursuant to Budget Circular No. 2010-1 dated April 28, 2010 issued by the Department of Budget and Management and Budget Circular No. 2014-05 dated October 13, 2013 issued by the City Mayor prescribing the rules and regulations on the grant of year-end bonus and cash gift for 2014 and years thereafter.
