Cavite’s No. 1 Most Wanted Person, Village Council Member, Notorious Group Fall

Calamba City, Laguna (PNA) — Operatives of the Dasmariñas City police and Tracker Team of Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB) arrested Saturday Ramon Lupanggo Bicua, listed Cavite’s Number 1 Most Wanted Person in the Provincial Level, by virtue of Warrant of Arrest (WOA) for the crime of Murder and Homicide under Criminal Case (CC) No. DC818-14 and 819-14.

Calabarzon police reports showed that on same date (Sept. 19) two wanted persons were also arrested in the provinces of Batangas and Quezon. Personnel of Regional Intelligence Unit (RIU)4A, RIU4B-Mimaropa and Taysan Municipal police arrested Rodolfo Arnigo Matira at the Balacanan Port, Balacanan Village, Mogpog, Mariduque by virtue of WOA under CC No. RO9-103-105 issued by Judge. Noel Lindog of Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 4, Rosario, Batangas for acts of lasciviousnes.

In Quezon province, Araceli Dalangin Baldovino alias Cely was arrested by Lucena City police in Area Masagana, Ibabang Iyam Village by virtue of WOA issued by the Judge Pedro D Gutierrez of RTC Br 119 Pasay City, for the crime of Estafa under CC # RPSY-1510013-CR with a recommended bail of Php 20,000.

Also in Quezon province, police officers arrested on Saturday (Sept. 19) Melvin Rolloque Guevarra, village council member of Busdak Village, San Francisco town , during the serving of Search Warrant Number 1024(15) issued by the Judge. Agripino G. Morga of RTC Br. 32 San Pablo City, Laguna. Confiscated from Guevarra were: one piece homemade shotgun (sumpak); six pieces of live ammunition for 12 gauge shotgun and one piece live ammunition for caliber 38 revolver.

Likewise on same day, Laguna police arrested Norman Lerpido Taebas, the alleged leader and financier of the notorious Taebas Group in Canlalay Village, Biñan City through a Search Warrant for Violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition) and RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act OF 2002) issued by Judge Agripino G. Morga of RTC Br 29-32, San Pablo City. Also arrested were alleged group members Edward Timbreza, Michael Dela Cruz alias Marlon and Cathy Aldeguer.

Another person was arrested in Amadeo, Cavite during the implementation of a Search Warrant Number 1008(15) issued by Judge Agripino Morga of RTC Br 29, 30 and 32, San Pablo City, Laguna against Juan De Roxas Manalo of Maitim 1st Village that resulted to the confiscation of the following: one piece Armscor cal 45 pistol with SN 1342355; three pieces magazine; thirty pieces live ammunition for cal. 45; two pieces holster; one piece magazine pouch; and one piece garrison belt.

The arrested persons were detained at their respective police station’s lock-up cells while the Taebas Group leader and members were brought to the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) 4A at Camp Vicente Lim Headquarters in this city for proper disposition.

Calabarzon police headed by Police Chief Superintendent Richard A. Albano, regional director, continuously implement the “OPLAN Lambat-Sibat” against criminals and crime-groups while also continuously monitoring the progress of such operations done simultaneously in various provincial, city and town police stations, according to the police information official.(PNA) CTB/ZAT/SL/PJN
