CEB Introduces Direct Davao-Singapore Flights Starting Dec 17
The Philippines’ leading airline, Cebu Pacific Air will launch non-stop twice weekly flights between Davao and Singapore, starting December 17, 2015.
The new service will depart Davao every Thursday and Sunday at 5:35pm and arrive in Singapore at 9:10pm. The return flight will depart at 9:55pm and arrive at 1:40am.
Aside from direct Davao-Singapore flights, CEB will also inaugurate direct flights from Manila to Fukuoka, Japan; and, from Cebu to Taipei, Taiwan on the same day, opening up new markets for tourism and business.
“We look forward to seeing the ‘Cebu Pacific effect’ in the new routes we will operate. We’ve seen time and again how connectivity and CEB’s trademark low fares stimulated travel,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.
“It has always been our commitment to contribute to the country’s economic and tourism agenda. We will continue to develop our Philippine hubs to offer fast, affordable flights to more travelers across our network,” she said.
CEB’s direct Manila-Fukuoka thrice weekly service will depart Manila at 2:15pm and arrive in Fukuoka at 6:55pm. The return flight departs at 8pm and arrives at 10:40pm. Fukuoka is CEB’s 4th destination in Japan after Osaka, Tokyo (Narita) and Nagoya.
Meanwhile, the Cebu-Taipei service will depart Cebu every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 9:45pm and arrive in Taipei at 12:25am. The return flight will depart at 1:05am and arrive at 3:45am. This is CEB’s 6th international route from Cebu. CEB also offers direct flights from Cebu to Hong Kong, Singapore, Incheon, Busan and Tokyo (Narita).
All three new routes will utilize CEB’s brand-new Airbus A320 aircraft fleet. CEB’s network now spans 63 destinations on 97 routes.
To promote its new routes, CEB holds a seat sale from September 10 to 13, 2015, or until seats last. Cebu-Taipei and Manila-Fukuoka seats are up for grabs at P2,688 all-in and P6,688 all-in respectively, for travel from December 17, 2015 to January 31, 2016.
Meanwhile, P1,488 all-in Davao-Singapore seat sale fares are for travel from December 17, 2015 to July 31, 2016.
